Hi lovelies. I am very excited about today’s blog post. I finally got to sit down to film another video tutorial for you guys. It’s been a while since last time I filmed and I already felt out of practice (especially when it came to editing!). But I do like making the videos. I really enjoy the process of creating the tutorials and it’s definitely a new challenge for me. Let’s take a look at this cute chevron leopard print nail art and how to make it.
Today’s nail art is a simple one, but I enjoyed wearing it tremendously! I noticed that it is always the case with the simple nail art. I do love making detailed designs, but I also love fast and easy nails (and you guys seem to enjoy them as well). This chevron leopard print nail art is inspired by the talented Colores de Carol and you can see the original design here. My design is a little bit different. I opted for chevron, because I didn’t have these wavy vinyls in my stash.
I started off by painting my nails white and when the base was dry I applied my chevron nail vinyls. I have my vinyls from StickIt! Nail Vinyls. Then I painted over them with this gorgeous minty colors, which is KBShimmer Playing With The Buoys. I removed the vinyls before the nail polish was dry and applied one layer of fast drying top coat. I used Serendipity Nail Polish Finishing Touch.
I painted the leopard spots with a tiny nail art brush and black acrylic paint. I used this brush set from BPS. I have shit ton of brushes, but I tend to gravitate towards these most. Make sure the animal print is tiny for this particular nail art and place them along the side of your nail. I finished everything with a generous layer of top coat to make it look shiny!
