Hello my beautiful friends. I am very excited about this post, as today we are having Paint All The Nails link up. I am kind of sad at the same time, because this is our very last link up! I am truly going to miss these nail art challenges with my talented friends. If you missed any of the previous Paint All The Nails nail art challenges, you can see them HERE. In this challenge our task was to recreate any of the nail art designs made during the PATN nail art challenges. I chose these beautiful floral zebra nails made by Christine from Freckles in Suburbia (previously known as Serenity Nails).
Christine did such a wonderful job on this nail art. You can see her original version HERE. It’s been my favorite design of hers, so I was very happy to recreate this nail art. I love the combination of black and white stamping with a pop of red.
I started off my floral zebra nails by painting my nails white. My latest favorite white nail polish is Indigo Nails Mr White. I have two coats here. Then I stamped my designs using a clear jelly stamper. It was very helpful when positioning the stamp with the flowers perfectly. I used the double-sided stamper from Bundle Monster and Aiyoohehe plate from Plaids and Florals collection. Then with a red nail polish thinned out in acetone I colored the flowers. I used OPI Big Apple Red. At the end I added some silver glitter in the middle of the flowers. Serendipity Nail Polish Holo-Day Lights was the glitter I used.
What do you guys think of my floral zebra nails? I am absolutely loving this design and the beautiful contrast between these colors. I am so pleased I got to recreate this nail art made by the talented Christine.
