Hi lovelies. I am coming back with swatches and review of the beautiful Sayuri Technicolor Carnival Collection. Sayuri is an Australian indie brand specializing in hand mixed nail polish. I have never had the pleasure of trying Sayuri, so of course I was very curious about the formula and quality. Let’s see the swatches first and then I will tell you more about the formula and performance.
This is what Sayuri says about Technicolor Carnival:
“Sayuri’s Technicolor Carnival Collection is inspired by retro fun fairs. A bright world of whirring colours, endless sparkling lights and laughter. It’s a place where you can leave your troubles behind and just live in the moment. The collection consists of 7 jelly shades, packed with tonne of sparkle. On first glance this collection may appear a little mundane, but it’s the little details hidden in each polish that make this collection special.”
Timbered Ponies is a magenta jelly packed with shimmer, holographic particles, micro flakes and tiny holographic rose glitters. I applied two coats plus top coat.
Musical Maelstrom is a vibrant red jelly with holographic particles, red holographic micro glitter and pops of blue iridescence. This color is such a beauty and probably one of the most saturated red I’ve seen. I applied two coats plus top coat.
The Merry-Makers is a pumpkin-toned orange jelly packed with holographic particles, metallic and holographic red micro glitters and golden micro flakes. I applied two coats plus top coat.
Games of Chance is a bright leaf-green jelly full of holographic particles, green and teal holographic glitters, and green-blue iridescent flakes. I applied two coats plus top coat.
Room of Reflections is a vibrant blue jelly packed with holographic particles, holographic turquoise micro glitters, and green-blue micro flakes. I applied two coats plus top coat.
Cloaked Fortunes is a deep plum-violet jelly full of holographic particles, purple and fuchsia holographic micro glitters, and purple shimmer. Here we also have two coats plus top coat.
Skies Ignite is a black jelly full of holographic particles, black and red holographic micro glitters, and rainbow iridescence. This one is probably my favorite from this collection. It has such a beautiful depth. I applied two coats plus top coat.
In conclusion, I think Sayuri Technicolor Carnival is a gorgeous collection that definitely needs your attention! All the colors and finishes are well-thought and match together really well.
I was very impressed at the Sayuri formula! I was a little bit afraid that the nail polishes are going to be chunky, since they are very complex and with many different components. You may have noticed that I applied only two coats of each color. The formula was perfect. It was self-leveling and very easy to apply. All the little particles were spreading evenly on the nail. The perfectly sized, flat brush made the application a real pleasure.
