Hello my lovelies. Today I am coming back with a long overdue post of Madam Glam One Step Gel swatches. After all the neon craze in my last few posts, we are going to take it down a little. All of the colors I am about to show you are very soft and neutral (except one). I am also going to show you a few items from the Born Pretty Store.
I have been loving Madam Glam One Step Gel formula. You don’t need base coat or top coat. You only apply the color and you are ready to go. I tested the longevity on my mom once and it lasts as long as the regular formula.
Blink is a dusky mauve creme and it’s stunning! At first I wasn’t sure about this color. It doesn’t look very attractive in the bottle, but once applied on the nails, it’s amazing! It looks so beautiful on the nails. It’s a neutral shade, but it’s not boring, as it’s a unique shade. I applied two coats.
Lavender Verbena is a violet shimmery jelly. I wouldn’t call this color lavender, as it has more warm tones in it. The formula is very sheer and in the swatch below I applied three coats. Also, from the picture on the website I excpected an iridescent gel, but it’s shimmery.
Goddess Dahlia is a beautiful coral shade. It’s a soft neon shade – very bright, but not overpowering. It’s a little bit more intense than my pictures show. Such a beautiful color. I am thinking of popping it on my toes soon. I added some beautiful iridescent rhinestones from the Born Pretty Store. I love them, they have a gorgeous shift and come in two sizes. Find them HERE.
Juliet Light Pink is a classy shade of nude pink. The formula is sheer, but build-able. I applied three layers. I paired this light pink colors with come round silver studs. They are simple studs, but I like how they look over pink. Find them HERE.
Mistress Game is a pretty nude beige creme. Another color with a sheer formula. Very classy! I applied three coats. For this soft nude I added some pretty flowers. I have mixed feelings about these stickers. I’ve tried them multiple times with regular nail polish, but they wouldn’t stick to my nail and I had some ugly bumps. They work much better with gel, but not ideal. I think the material is too thick. Too bad, because the flowers are very pretty. You can find them HERE.
Simple Tan is a sheer nude shade in brown undertone. It’s a beautiful color. It’s very natural and it also looks very pretty only applied in one coat. Here I have three coats.
