Hello lovelies. In today’s blog post I am happy to share with you Zoya Wanderlust collection swatches. This collection was released for Summer 2017. Zoya Wanderlust consists of 12 new shades (8 cremes + 4 shimmers) in beautiful, vibrant colors.
In this post I am also going to show you two nail art examples made with these wonderful nail polishes, so stay until the end.
This is my first time trying Zoya nail polish, so I cannot compare them to other polishes from their range. However, I can give you my general thoughts about them. All 12 colors swatched beautifully. The quality of these nail polishes is amazing and they are super pigmented! The creme formula is my absolute favorite and the pigmentation is just mind-blowing.
I applied all colors from Zoya Wanderlust without a base coat, which was completely fine until I got to Arbor, which stained my nails. It’s not a big surprise, since it’s a rich green, so I should have thought about it. I do recommend you apply a base coat for every application. I skipped the top coat this time, since they leveled up so beautifully and they have a very glossy as well.
Sonja is a summery crimson red cream. I applied 2 coats.
Journey is a shimmering strawberry red. I applied three coats.
Cora is as a muted coral cream. I applied 2 coats.
Sawyer is a soft taffy orange cream. I applied 2 coats.
Scout is a shimmering moss green. I applied 3 coats.
Arbor is a rich olive green cream. I applied 2 coats.
River is a shimmering cobalt blue. I applied 3 coats.
Lois is a rich magenta violet cream. I applied 2 coats.
Esty is a rich bubble gum pink cream. I applied 2 coats.
Mandy is a shimmering berry pink. I applied 2 coats.
Winnie is a soft watermelon pink cream. I applied 2 coats.
Byrdie is a muted fuchsia pink cream. I applied 2 coats.
I made two nail art designs with the gorgeous nail polishes from Zoya Wanderlust. The first design is a simple tri-color gradient. I used Sawyer, Cora and Sonja. The polishes blended together really well creating a seamless gradient. I added some black floral stickers to complete this look.
My second nail art is a beautiful purple floral featuring the stunning Lois, which is probably my favorite color from this collection.
This nail art was inspired by one of my favorite YouTubers Maxineczka and you can see her video here: https://youtu.be/XoddE8kpkx8. Please keep in mind that she used gel in her video and I am using regular nail polish.
Besides Zoya Lois, I used some stamping polishes from Bundle Monster to create this abstract floral. Stamping polishes are great for nail art, as they are very pigmented! The brushes that I used are HERE.
I applaud you, if you got till the end of this long post! Please let me now your thoughts on the Zoya Wanderlust collection. Which colors are your favorites? If I had to choose I would go with all the cremes, especially – Lois, Sonja, Cora and Winnie! The formulas are just amazing and colors very fitting for Summer.
