Hello lovelies. Happy Monday – hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! In today’s post we are going to take a closer look at the Il Était Un Vernis Mystical Fantasy Club collection. Mystical Fantasy Club consists of five nail polishes.
This is how Il Était Un Vernis describes the Mystical Fantasy Club.
“Summer is at our doors, the weather is hot and beautiful and all this sun is making our heads spin! Indeed ladies, lately, Il était un vernis sees magical creatures at every street corner: unicorns rolling in glitter, enchanting sirens, cute dragons that take us to the end of the world… Under a light blue sky where radiates an enchanted rainbow. In short, our madness takes over when the sun is concerned and we’re in for a lot of fun!”
To the Rainbow and Back is a pretty light blue holo. This is my favorite color from this collection. If you love blue nail polish, this one is definitely a must-have. Two coats plus top coat.
Keep Calm and Follow the Dragon is a greenish yellow holo. It’s such a cute shade, kind of reminds me of a lemon color. I applied two coats plus top.
Let’s be Mermaids has a pinkish plum base is embellished with a fuchsia metallic shift. It’s a stunning and classy shade, but I am not sure if it’s fitting for summer. Two coats plus top.
50% Sparkly, 50% Fairy Dust is a silver nail polish in matte foil finish with tiny holo sparkles. It’s not entirely my cup of tea, but I know many people will like this one. Two coats plus top.
My Unicorn Made Me Do It is a deep orange-red holo. This one is another favorite of mine. I think this orange color would look very flattering on a lot of skin tones. Two coats plus top.
I paired the gorgeous My Unicorn Made Me Do It with a bird of paradise stamping. The stamping image comes from the beautiful Powder Perfect Floral stamping plates (review here). I reverse stamped the bird of paradise over KBShimmer Playing with the Buoys. I love these colors together and how the flower came out.
