I have done many rose nail art designs in the past, but it seems like people are still requesting a tutorial on them. Rose designs (and florals in general) are my absolute favorite, so I was happy to create another one. I thought it would be a good idea to make a tutorial for a very easy, basic rose flower. This easy nail art is perfect for beginners and can be achieved even with a toothpick.
Heroine NYC has released a new collection of five pretty pastels called The Dream Cremes. I couldn’t help but use some of the pretty colors in this video. The pretty mint base of this mani is Empower-mint and I applied two coats. This nail polish is very pigmented and goes on smoothly!
The base of the roses is a light pink also from the Dream Cremes collection called Sugar Spun. This color is very sweet and perfect for nail art. I applied three random blobs with a large dotting tool. Next step is to make the petals. It’s best to use two shades of pink and layer them. Serendipity Nail Polish Summer Sunnies and Indigo Nails Tutti Frutti were the ones I chose.
Whats Up Nails Dance 24 brush is my absolute favorite lately! If you are not comfortable using a brush, you can also use a toothpick. Make sure you don’t apply too much pressure though, because you can ruin the design.
Don’t forget to finish your nail art with a good layer of top coat!
What do you guys think?
