Hi everyone. In today’s post I would like to show you my colorful tropical nail art. Summer designs are probably my favorite and I made many of them in the past (CLICK). I love how this design turned out and the color scheme of the pattern. Let’s take a look at the video and then I will tell you more details.
If you follow me on Instagram, you might now that every Friday during the summer I like doing the #hawaiianshirtmanifriday. It’s a nail art challenge created by the lovely @ladyandthe_stamp. You are pretty much free to create any nail art design, which could be fitting for a Hawaiian shirt. If you look at my past design, you might notice that I am in love with making palm tree leaves and flowers. This time is no different!
Summer Tropical Nail Art Design
I was inspired by a photo I took the other day of a pillow. It’s honestly the most gorgeous pattern!
For this look I stamped the leaves and flowers first and then painted the details with a brush. This is the first time I did this and it’s an awesome way of bringing the stamping to another level. I mixed turquoise and blue together and I love how the colors pop over the black base. The black polish I’m using here is Midnight Mischief by Painted Polish. It’s an awesome, pigmented black – truly a one-coater.
To create this tropical nail art I used MoYou London Tropical 25 stamping plate. I also used their clear stamper and I can say, it’s one of my favorites! It’s soft, squishy and tiny bit sticky. The clear material is high quality and does not disrupt the image.
Lately, I have been using the SoNailicious Warrior brush and I am really enjoying it. The brush is think and bristles are sturdy. Please refer to the description box of my video for the full list of products I’ve used.
What do you guys think of this tropical nail art design? Are you joining the #hawaiianshirtmanifriday challenge?
Have a great weekend everyone!
