Hi lovelies. How are you all doing? There is a huge heat wave going on right now in the entire Europe and in these melting temperatures it’s hard to sit down for any nail art. However, I made this easy nail art for beginners for you all. I realized that I make a lot of advanced designs, but a lot of my followers are beginners. So in today’s blog post I am showing you an easy technique for floral nails. This particular design was made with gel polish from Indigo Nails, but regular polish will work just as well.
This nail art design was inspired by the talented @nailthoughts. I am not really sure if my recreation lives up to the high standard of Katie’s design, but I tried my best.
Nail Art for Beginners – Simple Red Floral with Indigo Nails
As my base color I used the gorgeous Transparent The One from Indigo Nails. This is a sheer nude gel polish and I applied two coats. The flowers are made with Red Delicious and Red Diamond. Just apply some random blobs of color and try not to overthink the painting. The flowers don’t have to be perfect.
I added the details using the Indigo Nails Mousse Gel in Sun & Fun for the middle of the flowers. I mixed together Mr. Peppermint and Flora to create this minty green. At the end I added a good layer of top coat – Dry Top Super Shine. When painting the flowers try using thin layers. Otherwise the design will be kind of ‘bumpy’.
