Hi my beautiful friends. Happy Friday! I got a lot of comments and tutorial requests after I post this rose nail art look a while ago. First of all, I wanted to thank you for all the wonderful comments and feedback, it really means a lot to me. I decided to fulfill your request and made a video tutorial. This design is a little bit more detailed and time consuming, but I think it’s still quite easy and achievable. Let’s take a look at my Vintage Rose Nail Art Tutorial.
I decided to skip the gradient that was featured in my last nail art and go with a solid base. I used the beautiful pale blue, Cirque Polish Meet Me in Montauk. It’s one of my favorite blue polishes, it’s so pigmented and creamy! I applied two coats and then set to make the roses. I took a thin nail art brush from my favorite brush set and made the base of the roses first. I used a beautiful coral red, which was Cameo Colours Lacquers Wednesday.
Then I took a white nail polish (China Glaze White on White) and started making the petals and the initial shape. With a rich red nail polish (OPI Big Apple Red) I made more dimension and darker petals to the flowers. I repeated the process going back to white to make more highlights and then more red shading.
At the end, I added some bright leaves and I used two kinds of green, bright Cameo Colours Lacquers Thursday and dark Nicka K no. 145. To finish everything off, I added a layer of top coat. Lately, I like using Superchic Lacquer top coat. You can use my coupon code SUPERCHICFAN0116PP for 10% discount.
What do you guys think? Let me know your thoughts and comments on this vintage rose nail art tutorial and also let me know what you thought of the video. I keep thinking that it is a little bit too long, but I couldn’t cut anymore parts from it. Do let me know.
Enjoy your weekend everyone and see you soon :*
